Franklin city council’s Monday meeting was held in Suite 204 of the Franklin Professional Building at 150 Prospect Avenue due to upcoming renovation work at city hall which has caused temporary relocation of several staff and services.

According to information from the city, the $1.2 million renovation project will begin in mid-August and will entail the replacement of an aging heating and air-conditioning system and lighting throughout city hall.
